When I browsed your site, I saw that you had 4 oil pickups 15-821 (Canton product) listed as 'in stock'. Your supposed headquarters is in SF, so I thought, 'Great, I can get this essential part fast.' What a joke! That wasn’t the reality. Instead, you had it drop shipped from the manufacturer on the East coast. This makes your business seem like a 'broker' or a middleman for mail orders. If you say something is 'in stock', it should actually be available. Claiming it’s in stock when it’s not is pretty much 'bait-and-switch' in retail terms. Honestly, there was no benefit to ordering from you, except for saving on state sales tax. If I wanted to wait 10 days, I could’ve picked from a bunch of other places online or even local shops. They all say it’s for sale, but they’re upfront about needing to order it from the manufacturer. Because of the drop shipment, I had to wait at least a week, and in this case, it took 10 days to get the item. After a week of waiting, I reached out to your customer service to ask why it was 'stuck' in Addison, Illinois, and the response was something like, 'poor weather.' Seriously?

I checked the weather report from the manufacturer’s location in CT, which is far away, and there was nothing going on. No weather issues that week that would hold up UPS on the highways. Just a heads up, folks, you can easily look up a month’s weather history for any area. So, you earned a 1-star rating for being a non-stocking retailer and for giving a lame excuse about why it was stuck in Addison, IL. How about trying something different? Don’t kick off a transaction by claiming you have it 'in stock' when you don’t. And if you’re clueless about why something isn’t moving in the delivery process, just say so. It’s totally fine to admit 'you don’t know.'

But hey, your website looks nice. Good job on dressing up a bad situation.

Great prices and quick replies to my email inquiries. I would’ve given it 5 stars if it weren’t for a small hiccup where the website claimed it was in stock but didn’t clarify it was coming directly from the shipping company. However, when I reached out about not getting a tracking number, they got back to me right away and addressed all my questions or worries. Just two days later, I finally got that tracking number.
